St. LAC welcomes any new members whatever their automotive interest or level of involvement. There are no restrictions on what type of car or intended motoring activity. The club is the point of entry for beginners into motor sport on a club level as well as providing affiliation for experienced drivers in Provincial and National Class competition. Existing members have a wide variety of knowledge and skill to help and/or advise new entrants to the sport.

The club hosts a Regional Championship Slalom, which is highly regarded by Ontario and SCCA competitors. A series of Solo II events is held in the May to September period for Club Championship awards. Various social gatherings take place during the year and an award-winning newsletter (The TACH) is published quarterly.
