Hello St. Lac members!

Tomorrow, MAY 25th, is our first lapping evening of the season at Shannonville. We only have a couple of season pass spots remaining.  If you are new and on the fence come join us to check it out.  Drivers meeting is at 5:20pm at the Fabi paddock (side closes to the 401).  To get a wrist band you just need to complete the waiver.

Unfortunately we have been unable secure the Picton airbase for this years autoslalom (autocoss).  The airbase, now owned and operated by Base31, has been home to one of the best autoslalom events in Ontario for the past 20+ years. This year, however, Base31 has come to the decision not to permit automotive events, citing concerns over tarmac degradation.  In light of this we will see if there is an opportunity to host some smaller events locally.  I, for one, would love to bring back autoslalom to the St. Lac area.

Finally – I have set up a public FaceBook group ‘St LAC Public Forum’.  The intent of this group is to have a public space where members and enthusiest can connect, post photos, advertise car-related events or sales, that sort of thing.  At this time this group is completely open and unmoderated.
