CTMP 2017 Regional Road Racing Series, Open Wheelers, VARAC and more!

We are almost there – next Friday is the first test day at CTMP for the 2017 Regional Road Racing Series and Saturday is BEMC’s Spring Trophy Races featuring GT Sprints, GT Challenge, Formula Libre/F4/F1200, the Toyo Tire F1600 Championship, both VARAC’s Vintage-Historic and Classic grids, as well as our guests, the Challenge Cup Series http://challengecupseries.com/.  As I am writing this the entry list looks very, very good…

We could use more cars on the Formula Libre grid, and at least 5 more on GT Challenge to justify running the full 3 hours.  We’ll definitely have a race with the 13 entries we already have, danby crowder's profile photo but we need to get that number higher to run the full 3 hours we have planned.  Take a look at the entry list and if you know of anyone “humming or hawing” get on the phone (or email or text) and convince them to come on out and race.  You know they want to – they just need a little “nudge”…

The long term weather for Friday and Saturday looks good (Sunday will improve as we get closer – you’ll see).  Temperature in the teens (Celsius!) with 20% chance of precipitation.

Don’t forget the “100 Reasons to Race” promotion.  Enter and pay for the full weekend entry using a CASC-OR or ASN Canada competition licence and you’ll automatically receive a $100 credit towards your second full weekend entry in 2017.
